Who we are
Get Licensed Now is a recruiting and training resource operated for the independent insurance agencies affiliated with Lions Ascent. When you submit the application form on this site, your information is received by Lions Ascent and shared with the affiliated agency best suited to work with you.
What we collect
- What you tell us. Your name, email address, phone number, the state you live in, whether you are licensed, when you would like to start, and anything you write in the message field.
- Technical information. Standard web server information such as your IP address, which we use for security and abuse prevention (for example, rate limiting the form against automated submissions).
- Referral information. If you arrived through an agent's personal link, we record which agent referred you so your inquiry is routed to them.
How we use it
- To contact you by phone, text, and email about becoming a licensed insurance agent.
- To send you pre-licensing course instructions and onboarding information.
- To route your inquiry to the appropriate affiliated agency and recruiter.
- To keep records of your inquiry in our customer relationship management system.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with lead buyers, data brokers, or unaffiliated marketers. Information is shared only with the affiliated agency working with you and with service providers that operate our systems on our behalf, for example our email delivery, text messaging, and hosting providers, who are permitted to use it only to provide those services to us.
Calls, texts, and emails
By submitting the form you agree to be contacted at the phone number and email address you provide, including by automated dialing or texting technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase and is not required to obtain an insurance license.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can opt out of emails using the unsubscribe link or by replying and asking. Message and data rates may apply.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to work with you and to meet our record keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing hello@getlicensednow.com.
Your choices
You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale. Again, we do not sell personal information. Email us and we will handle it.
Children
This site is for adults seeking an insurance career. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
